Project Overview
Professional System Engineering, LLC (PSE) provide perimeter security engineering, design, and construction administration services for this security upgrade project for the existing 1,455 bed SCI Mercer. The project will provide a new terrain-following electrostatic perimeter intrusion dection system located at the 5,300 foot long security fence that surrounds the facility. The existing reporting system for the other existing systems was upgraded and integrated with the existing video surveillance system.
PSE acted as the prime consultant to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of General Services (DGS) and therefore also provided management and coordination of the electric power and infrastructure design provided by subconsultant. Project construction cost approximately $1 million.
