Project Overview

Professional Systems Engineering, LLC provided design and engineering services for Coppin State University’s new 135,000 SF Science and Technology Center. The new building addresses the University’s critical needs in science – this included the Departments of Mathematics and Computer Science and Natural Sciences while consolidating the Information Technology Division, and providing a campus data center. Our services included programmatic, schematic, and design drawings for the issuance of construction documents. Our scope of work included all electronic security systems to include video surveillance, access control, public safety, and intrusion detection. We also provided door hardware services and selection including schedules and specifications for this new center.

PSE’s scope of work included all electronic security systems to include video surveillance, access control, public safety, and intrusion detection. The design also included integration to the existing Central Command Center on campus for monitoring and control of this new building.
