Project Overview
Professional Systems Engineering, LLC provided engineering for upgrades to the security electronics system used by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department to secure the D-1 Forensic Unit. The 7,000 SF unit consisted of forensic rooms, seclusion rooms, medical examination rooms, non-contact patient rooms, non-contact visitation rooms, and medical treatment rooms. These areas were required to have detention grade security systems. PSE provided consulting, design, engineering, and construction administration services
PSE assisted the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department in upgrading their security systems with state-of the-art IP-based systems, and worked to insure a qualified contractor met all contract requirements during project close-out process.
