JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced and highly engaged candidate skilled in design for some of the following: low and medium electrical systems, power distributions, PLCs, physical and electronic security systems, telecommunications, life safety, and fire protection. Professional Engineering Licensure and Credentialing a super plus or ability to obtain.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage field surveys, assessment, studies, and research.
- Prepare, lead, manage and issue all aspects of project concept, programming, construction documentation, specifications, close-out, and reports for a successful project completion.
- Provide oversight and excellent knowledge base for code compliance, project budget, and manufacturers and product research.
- Prepare and manage schedules, budgets, manufacturers and vendor research.
- Communicate, coordinate, and disseminate all project elements with various engineers, and engineering and architectural teams.
- Reviews and quality-controls all construction drawings for issuance, shop drawings, and RFI’s.
- Conduct, prepare, and attend internal and external project meetings, site visits, kick-off meeting, and bid meetings.
- Complete responsibility and providing management for the production of punch lists, project reports, and staff engineering deliverables.
- Manage staff engineers for producing drawings, agendas, technical reports and all project correspondence.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field with minor in EE.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering, design and construction disciplines.
- Certifications, Credentialing, and/or Professional Engineering Licensure or eligibility.
- Associate principal career progression.
- Communicative and organized team members with strong planning around people + data + software.
- Ability to work within project budgets, hours, phases, and schedules.
- Ability to work in AutoCAD, 3-D BIM, and/or Revit.
- Can work in a Hybrid/Flexible environment.
