Electrical Engineer/Mechanical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for passion, energy, and interest in design for some of the following: electrical systems, power distributions, PLCs, physical and electronic security systems and/or communications, life safety, and fire protection. Credentialing and EIT Eligibility a super plus. Position involves concentrated design capabilities using AutoCAD & BIM.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilizes AutoCAD and Revit for assisting and designing construction-type documentation.
  • Responsible for creating and producing CAD and Revit drawings.
  • Work with MS Word + Excel to construct schedules, spreadsheets, and reports.
  • Work accurately from mark-ups of design drawings, and tables, and to produce construction documents.
  • Applies CAD, Revit, and Engineering standard practices and techniques.
  • Performs field surveys with team members.
  • Work with the engineering design team to produce the company’s deliverables.
  • Work on projects that protect and enhance lives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduated with a 4-year degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Prior experience in engineering, design, and construction a plus.
  • Fluent in AutoCAD and can become knowledgeable in Revit.
  • Training in Revit provided by the firm for the interested candidate.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in written form.
  • Can work in a Hybrid/Flexible environment.
