Scope of Work: Professional System Engineering, LLC provided design/consulting services for security, holding/detention surveillance systems, courts security and allied building security communications.
PSE provided an integrated security system that included video surveillance and gate door control and monitoring of new vehicle and prisoner drop-off sallyport. Also included were CCTV monitoring of all courtrooms, holding areas, corridors, and some administrative areas for the old courthouse and new Annex addition.
The Washington County Courthouse complex includes courts and judicial support spaces at the existing and Annex complex. The existing courthouse has video surveillance in all courtrooms, holding areas, corridors and elevators. The Annex also has video surveillance in all courtrooms, corridors, and holding areas. The law library in the Annex complex, elevators, and stairways between the Annex and the existing Courthouse is also monitored with video surveillance. In addition to the Annex complex, a new prisoner drop-off vehicle sallyport was constructed with control and monitored roll-up gates along the Library Alley and a new renovated Control Bubble in the basement. An intercom system for communications between the Control Bubble and the prisoner drop-off Vehicle Sallyport was provided.
