Project: Security, Life Safety & Communications Design

Client: Essex County Improvement Authority

Scope of Work: Professional Systems Engineering, LLC provided design and engineering for cutting edge technologies for this newly constructed $416 million facility with a capacity to house more than 2,200 inmates. PSE prepared systems design and consulting services for the four-story, one million square foot facility.

The $11 million electronics award combined with $10 million in infrastructure and $11 million in detention hardware made this project one of the most impressive security designs of the late 1990’s.
