Scope of Work: Professional Systems Engineering, LLC provided security consulting and engineering services included as prime consultant to the city of Philadelphia, including systems studies, master planning, design, bid, and construction administration for this 946 bed, 13 housing unit facility.
Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center (PICC) houses most of Philadelphia’s “Close Custody” inmates. PSE has strive to implement systems to improve safety of this facility.
Planning services included site analysis, program of user requirements, locking systems study and Security System Master Planning (SSMP). The SSMP included consoles, electronics, communications, control, life safety, operations, scheduling, phasing and cost estimates. The implementation strategy was phased to spread costs over multiple budget years.
