County of Delaware Courthouse, Government Center & Parking Structure, Delaware County, PA

PSE provided schematic design, design development, and construction documentation for new systems in the historic courthouse, government center and parking structure for this County with the second largest population in Pennsylvania. Systems included intercom, audio, paging, security, card access, CCTV and other related systems. Complete specifications and construction documentation included strict budget control for reducing costs to the County.

Luzerne County Courthouse Wilkes-Barre, PA

The primary objective for the Courthouse, one of the most costly courthouse developments in the world at the time of construction, is life safety of the building occupants. A secondary objective is the protection of the structure itself which is historically registered. Security is also being provided.

Bergen County Justice Center Hackensack, NJ

PSE's design involved the planning and coordination with the County for a new Justice Center entrance through the link of two existing buildings. Physical and electronic security design included: Specialized Card Access, Communications, CCTV Monitoring, Control & Surveillance, New Security Control Station, and Metal Weapons Detection.

PSE provided commissioning and authority services for this new $130 million juvenile justice center. This facility is comprised of a 360-bed detention center, with 180 Medium Security beds, 90 Maximum Security beds, and 90 Special Population beds, as well as court facilities and administration offices.
