Lexington-Fayette County Detention Center Lexington, KY

PSE was responsible for programmatic design, consulting and preparation of RFP’s for digital PBX, optical-gigabit ethernet networks, satellite reception/distribution, ATM/Sonet connection to Lexington government, and video conferencing. A highly structured cabling system was required for the demanding load of computer and video data activity as well as extensive telephone requirements. The data center design converged ATM/voice/video/data/satellite and video conferencing in a central data and control space.

Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center Jessup, MD

PSE provided design and consulting services for renovations and a new housing unit addition to the hospital. This State forensic hospital represents a $5 million security and data/telecommunications upgrade to door/access control, duress, patient care, digital networked CCTV, PLC control, intercom. A new data center for a $15 million project included a new housing unit. The most current digital electronics were employed for the special and uniquely violent, psychologically impaired individuals held at this facility. The digital control room handles all data/voice/video/security/clinical process equipment distribution and network architecture includes all services to all clinical stations.

Fiserv Trust - BHC Financial Philadelphia, PA

PSE was responsible for all data center design communications and network planning, telecommunications infrastructure, and audio/visual/video and consumer meet/greet/“ticker” areas of this securities investment firm. The data center included deployment of parallel processing computers in a bubble environment. Network operations center (NOC), call center, and fallback areas were designed, as well as 60,000 sq. ft. of hi-tech open office with custom data services.

Princeton Theological Seminary Princeton, NJ

PSE provided planning, engineering, and design services for Princeton Theological Seminary. IP data and telecommunications infrastructure were designed to support over 11 networks of computer systems as well as telephone distribution. Data communications networks served multiple purposes including standard networking within the facility, databases held within the University, and connections to other databases throughout the world. Extensive security and card access systems were designed along with library book security for prevention of theft.
