Plainfield School District Standards for Security
Plainfield, NJ

PSE was trusted by the PBOE to design the security standards for their entire district which includes over 30 schools. At the forefront was the decision to standardize on a one-card, district-wide access control system with centralized system server, administration and access card production.

Roberto Clemente Elementary School
Paterson, NJ

PSE provided advanced security consulting and design for this new 120,000 sq. ft. school designed to serve 650 students K-8.Accelerated design to meet aggressive schedules challenged PSE to maintain superior quality and design integrity.

Clinton Elementary School and
"Swing" Schools
Plainfield, NJ

PSE provided security system for PBOE "swing" schools under an advanced, multi-phased design and construction schedule. These spaces are connected, but separate in use, requiring similar, unified systems with segregated functionality. PSE was able to meet the district, CM and architect's aggressive schedules for completion.

Chester High School
Chester, PA

PSE supplied security consulting and design services for this 385,000 sq. ft. inner city high school built in 1974 with a student capacity of 2,300 to confront mounting concerns of student behavioral issues. PSE was the consulting firm throughout the 4 phases of the video surveillance system designed for the Chester High School.

New Jersey Training School (NJTS)
Monroe Township, New Jersey

PSE provided advanced technical design and consulting services for a new duress alarm system at the New Jersey Training School, a medium security facility for juvenile offenders. The system covers both internal and external building areas within the perimeter fence, encompassing more than 100 acres and over 50 buildings.

Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA)
Philadelphia, PA

This $30 million expansion involved renovating the Federal Building. PSE provided consulting and design services for digital security systems and data/telecom architecture. PSE also provided A/V/V technologies and room design for multiple presentation spaces complete with digital video. Services included surveys and construction administration. Our systems are designed for both functional and aesthetic requirements.

Lincoln University
Lincoln University, PA

Engineering and design services were provided for security and fire alarm systems. Site-wide fiber optic network, access control, and emergency lighting were also designed.

The Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences of West Virginia
Charleston, WV

As one of West Virginia’s most ambitious cultural and educational projects in history, the $80 million Clay Center will include an art museum, performing arts center with a concert hall, a science center, a planetarium, and a large format film theater. PSE designed the security system on a fast-track, two-week schedule. Engineering services included CCTV, control room re-design, door hardware, job site inspection, and related services.
