Essential Duties:

• Designs/develops concept for building protection systems within a teaming setting
• Interprets/performs and directs others for data collection at inception of project
• Researches solutions for complex design features
• Attends and/or conducts meetings for project schedules, budgets, progress, and new business activities
• Responsible for meeting project schedules and budgets
• Drafts transmittals, minutes, memos, emails, checklists, and technical reports
• Contributes to specifications and proposal elements

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledgeable and/or apptitude for designing electrical systems, low voltage power systems, PLCs, and/or building protection systems, i.e., electronic & physical security systems, fire/life safety systems, and educational technologies, etc.
• Relevant work experience
• Knowledgeable in AutoCad
• EIT or other industry level certifications desirable
• Experience in the A/E/C or integrator environments desirable
• Promotes a spirit of teamwork, collaboration, and a sense of humor

This position provides increased level of expertise and a potential project management role.
