PSE is seeking a Building Technology Systems Designer to work in a spacious new office with a team of professional engineers and designers.

Become involved in multiple phases of remarkable projects. In many instances, our innovative projects involve consultancy with architects, MEP, and civil engineers. These professionals are individual with whom you will collaborate and learn from.

Day-to-day functions include design and development of plans and layouts for electrical and electronic systems and infrastructure, application of codes, standards, and regulations. To gain crucial project information, you attend client meetings, conduct site surveys, perform preliminary studies and assessments. Gaining knowledge and making recommendations of vendor/integrator/manufacturer’s equipment and products are part of the systems research process.

Preferred Requirements:

• Possesses knowledge of technology and building systems.
• Performance as a practitioner in various fields, i.e., corrections, justices, and/or integrator/vendor environments will serve as a foundation for this design position.
• Enjoys continual learning regarding multiple protective building systems and systems’ integration and programs in an A/E setting.
• A degree in a technical discipline is a plus point.
• The possession or pursuit of well-respected industry level certifications through such organizations as American Correctional Association (ACA), American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), National Institute of Certified Electrical Technicians (NICET).
• Ability in AutoCAD is preferred.
